Information on Autism

Autistic disorders are characterised by profound developmental impairment already begun in childhood, resulting in a serious relational and communication disorder.

There are numerous distinctive behavioural features, which can be very taxing in particular for the parents in their day-to-day dealings with their children.

In addition to infantile autism, the international classification of mental disorders mentions the following defining characteristics:

  1. Qualitative impairment of human relations
  2. Impairment in verbal and non-verbal communication
